I'm Alene Keenan, and I spent many years living and working at sea as Chief Steward on luxury yachts mastering hospitality, leadership, and wine. Now I'm back in the La Crosse area, and I am bringing a taste of the high seas to our community through my new venture, Etiquette Uncorked.
You might have heard of the popular reality TV show Below Deck. Well, it’s more than a guilty pleasure for me - I've lived a yachting lifestyle firsthand—and it’s not like reality TV. My time at sea taught me valuable lessons in humility, servant leadership, and gracious hospitality.
